Shell Shape Workshop 3 | Have fun making seashell stamps

2025.2.11 (Tuesday) Holiday

10:00~12:00 / 13:30~15:30

Lecturer: Shu Nakaji (Seaside Natural History Research Center)

After learning about the types and shapes of shells, we carved shells into stamps. The cross-sections of the shells that gradually emerged had strange shapes! We applied colorful paint to the stamps and pressed them onto postcards to create wonderful works of art.

Through enjoying nature observation and creating art, the children were able to experience the beauty of the local biodiversity and biological forms.

(Making postcards using seashell stamps is also a part of our standard program.)
